I've been working as an educator for six years in a variety of capacities. I've worked with middle and high school students, and feel comfortable tutoring a wide array of subjects and courses. It's important to me to form relationships with students to help them feel comfortable and more confident in achieving success in difficult academic endeavors (including Mathematics and exam prep). I love to encourage empowerment and independence in my students. I feel comfortable tutoring Algebra (I-IV), Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Arithmetic, Advanced Placement Calculus AB, etc. I can also help with preparation for the ACTs (English, Math, Reading, Science, Math, Writing) and the SATs (Critical Reading, Math, Writing). I attended both the University of Minnesota and Boston University. I presently live in Winthrop, MA. I enjoy playing soccer, working out at the gym, and talking math shop with my teacher friends. I also enjoy reading and a few TV shows.
